Pathfinder was born in the year of 2000, in a small one-bedroom apartment, in south Brazil, with a fax machine, an old computer, and a 21-year-old kid that believed that he could be a help to leather people from all over the World to find their way around the market in Brazil.
- "It was a challenge to walk into a tannery or a client being young and inexperienced", remembers Marcio Schönerwald, founder and currently senior advisor of the company. "But Iïm grateful today, for the many who believed in our project and ideas and gave us space to work and grow. Time went by, and itïs an honor today to call these people friends".
Today, Pathfinder Leather works with the largest tanneries in South America, and has in its portfolio, major companies of the World Leather Industry sector as clients.
With humble beginnings, working with limited resources, Pathfinder Leather has becomes a well know, "World Class" Leather Company, with branches in the USA, Brazil and soon, Hong Kong.
We believe that our future and continuation of our legacy depends on our core values: integrity, transparency, humility, friendship and responsibility.
